Dwell Café operates as part of the Trussell Trust network, one of the UK’s leading anti-poverty charities, working towards a future where no one needs a food bank to survive. As a proud part of that network, our food bank sits at the very heart of everything we do.
Alongside food, we are building a space that meets everyday needs in practical ways. This includes access to:
- Dwell Wardrobe
- Laundry services
- Charging points for phones and devices
- Play area for children with a jungle gym and sensory room
Every visit to our café directly helps fund and sustain vital food bank services for families and individuals across our local community.
By keeping our prices affordable and our atmosphere welcoming, we are creating a space where everyone, regardless of circumstance, can feel comfortable, valued, and at home.

Dwell Wardrobe is an on-site clothing space that works like a free, community-led shop.
Here, people can claim, swap, or donate clean clothing, from everyday essentials to interview wear, ensuring everyone has access to what they need.

Dignity by Choice
At Dwell, we believe support should always come with dignity.
That is why we are developing our “Dignity by Choice” approach, allowing those accessing food bank support to choose freely from our café menu, just like any other customer. With a simple and discreet system, no one is singled out.
